Rise Against Hunger

On Sunday, February 9, 2020, 72 participants got together at St. James UMC to package 10,000+ meals for Rise Against Hunger.  It took only 1.5 hours to package so many meals, and make an impact in the lives of so many.  We had such a wonderful time in fellowship as we came together through mission work.  Stay tuned for information on RAH 2021 at St. James UMC.  You can donate to Rise Against Hunger year around.

Come and join St. James UMC team for Charleston "Walk for Water" on Saturday, March 21 at 9:00 am at Riverfront Park, North Charleston.  This is an exciting opportunity that you can raise money for Water Mission.

Every day millions of people have to walk miles and miles just for water. Most of the time, the water they can find is contaminated and makes them sick.  We are excited because Water Mission is changing lives, one community at a time, through their sustainable safe water solutions.

Each dollar raised by this event is going to make an impact through a safe water community development project! We hope you'll consider supporting our team by making a donation or registering to walk with us.  It's a 3 mile walk!
Registration fee:
Adults: $25.00
Students (ages 5-17): $10.00
Children (ages 4 & under): FREE

**Get a free Walk for Water T-shirt when you register!
