Our collection box for Helping Hands of Goose Creek is always located in the narthex. Please bring a non-perishable food item and place it in the box for the hungry in our community.
Next Canned Good Drive:
Throughout the month of November, up to Sun. Dec. 1st, the Youth will be collecting canned good items, for our Clemson vs Carolina Drive. Their goal for the month is 2,000 canned goods. All canned goods will be donated to HH of GC.
UMCOR is part of the United Methodist connection, established to alleviate suffering around the globe. They provide emergency relief along with long term efforts to help people and communities recover from crisis. UMCOR is there when tornados, floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes occur. They are also working in the Ukraine with displaces persons, in Africa to support the Ebola crisis and on the US border with the immigrant issues. Wherever there is a human need, UMCOR is there.

Rise Against Hunger
St. James UMC will be packing 10,000 meals on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. 50 volunteers are needed to sign-up to help package those meals. Our goal is to raise $4,000 for Rise Against Hunger to allow us to package these meals. Using the links below you can sign-up to volunteer to package meals and/or donate to Rise Against Hunger through St. James UMC.
